AI Enablement Lead

• Salary: $115,162 – $131,623 + Super

• Term: 2-Year Fixed Term

• Location: Regional VIC (Northwest) 3 days in-office, with future flexibility

• Focus: Microsoft Copilot, Purview, and Information Governance

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a utilities cooperation in Regional VIC (Northwest) who are at the beginning of a transformative digital journey. As our AI Enablement Lead, you will be the primary architect of how the client adopts, govern, and master Artificial Intelligence. This isn't just about turning on a feature; it’s about building the strategy, safety nets, and culture that will allow a major essential services organisation to innovate responsibly.

The Role

Sitting within the Information Management & Governance function, you will act as the bridge between cutting-edge technology and human adoption. You will lead the roll out of Microsoft 365 Copilot and the broader M365 suite, ensuring our AI usage is secure, compliant, and highly effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Governance: Develop the frameworks and risk assessments for safe AI adoption.

• Technical Enablement: Use Microsoft Purview to manage data classification and security labels.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across Cyber Security, Tech, Legal, and Data teams to align AI usage with business needs.

• Capability Building: Act as the Translator-in-Chief, running workshops and creating guidance to boost AI literacy across the organisation.

• System Ownership: Serve as the subject matter expert for SharePoint and Teams technical support and optimisation.

We are looking for:

• The M365 Toolkit: Solid experience with SharePoint, Teams, and (ideally) Microsoft Purview.

• The Governance Mindset: A background in Government, heavy regulation, or high-level Consultancy is highly regarded.

• The People Person: You excel at stakeholder management. You might come from a Product Management, Digital Transformation, or IT Governance background.

• Strategic Thinker: You enjoy being involved in the early days of a journey, helping to shape the road map rather than just following one.

About You

You don’t need to be a data scientist, but you do need to be tech-fluent and an exceptional communicator. You are someone who can explain complex risks to a non-technical audience while holding your own in a room with Cyber Security experts.
